“Seven years ago I was having trouble keeping my schedule – working 14 hour days, trucking. I convinced my medical doctor to send me to a specialist who put me on a tread mill. He grabbed me and said “are you alright”? My arteries were clogged but the Doctor decided to wait. I heard about Chelation in Kansas City and decided to give it a try! Fifty treatments later I woke up one morning feeling very different. I FELT GREAT! Feeling great I stayed away from the medical doctors. At a D.O.T. physical, the doctor asked about my heart condition and the medicine I was taking. He put me on a 90 day license to get my act together. I went back to the same heart specialist and the dreaded tread mill and found nothing wrong. “I had a double bypass 30 years ago. I stopped smoking, started exercising and cut down on meat and other fats. It was 20 years before I needed an angioplasty which did not work. I switched to natural medicine with EDTA slow drip Chelation. After 10 years, I do not test positive for any blocked arteries. Since retiring, I got out my old trombone from high school days and joined the New Horizon Band which qualifies for aerobic exercise. It has definitely added to my quality and enjoyment of life. When I was just out of college, newly married and starting a new job I started experiencing many symptoms. Mood swings, weight gain, anxiety, depression, brain fog, sensation of my skin crawling, loss of libido, and irregular cycles and subsequent infertility. My eyes exhibited an exaggerated stare; I had lid lag; and a very “fine” tremor. I went to a family practice physician who did some tests and determined I had hyperthyroidism. I was put on an oral anti thyroid medication called Tapazole. However, within a couple of months, I developed a goiter and “thyroid storm” symptoms with my heart “racing” intermittently and the other symptoms became worse. Four years later my thyroid converted to hypothyroid and I was put on thyroid replacement therapy. I have been on thyroid meds since 1971 and was told that I would be on them for the rest of my life.

Thyroid disease runs in my family and although my family is full of physicians and nurses we had never looked at the nutritional aspects of the disease, only the traditional medical approach. Now I know that all I needed was a bottle of Iodoral and a balanced nutritional program. I am off my thyroid meds and I feel great!” ~ A.R.W.

When I was seven years old I had rheumatic fever with a reoccurrence of it at the age of sixteen. It left me with a damaged heart valve and at that time I was put on mega doses of penicillin shots every three weeks. The Medical doctors said I would have to take them the rest of my life. Also at this time I was put on a thyroid medication. After twenty years of being on the penicillin shots the same doctor decided I needed to quit taking them for fear I would get pneumonia or some other infection and nothing would help. They tried putting me on allergy shots before they took me off of the penicillin, to build up my immune system, but it didn’t help.

When I quit taking the penicillin I didn’t have any immune system left. It was at this time I started going to alternative doctors. I had gone to different alternative doctors for about twenty-one years, but never had gotten completely well. Four and a half years ago I dehydrated and was in a coma for fifteen hours, which left me with a breathing problem. A friend of mine who goes to CPH told me about them, and three and one-half years ago I started going there. They found out I had Lyme disease. Now because of all the things I’ve learned to do to take care of myself, following what Cornerstone tells me to do, eating the right kind of foods and exercising regularly I am off of all prescription medication, including the thyroid medication I had been on for 42 years. My sore throats and sinus problems are gone. They can’t hear a heart murmur on me any more and my heart no longer flutters or skips a beat.

“The doctors at Cornerstone Progressive Health have always said that the best time to work on improving your health is when you are healthy. Even though I knew I was blessed with good health, I decided to start my journey to better health a little over a year ago. And here are some of the results of my journey so far.

I had been constipated my whole life. Even as a young child I would have hard, difficult bowel movements, at best, every three to four days. After starting my “get healthy” journey with the Cornerstone Progressive Health team in January of last year, and doing mud packs, saunas, Beam Rays, Castor Oil Packs, recommended supplements, seven day intestinal cleanses, and my personal favorite – the sacral cranial adjustment, I am no longer constipated. No more coffee, magnesium, or anything else, except a good diet, to help the process along – I am as regular as clock work. Another welcome change was the return of mobility/flexibility to my back. A bike accident resulted in some compression fractures to the vertebrae thirty plus years ago. Over time my back had gotten stiff and immobile. After the first sacral cranial adjustment mobility was restored. Furthermore, the discomfort that I frequently had in the back is almost gone. The other changes I have noted include: a huge reduction in the size of hemorrhoids; reduction of carpal tunnel, the healing of a shoulder that was injured twenty some years ago, an improvement in eye sight, and reduction of small growths on face and eye lids. And here I thought I was really pretty healthy when I started this journey!
